The 8th Annual White Squirrel Day!!!

Who needs a groundhog when you have a gorgeous & smart White Squirrel named Penelope Ella Catherine Elizabeth (“Pisgah Penny”)! Not only is she an expert with the weather, she also knows who’s gonna win the Super Bowl.

This year, Pisgah Penny will be brought to a secret location to make her predictions

and WSQL will be broadcasting LIVE all the action!

Our own Don Debiase will be the Master of Ceremonies for this event for the 8th year in a row, and our new mayor Maureen Copelof will be there to proclaim February 2nd as White Squirrel Day in Brevard.
